The management of the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) has held a strategic management meeting to review progress on assignments given to members ahead of the organisation’s forthcoming activities.
The meeting, held on Friday, September 18, 2026, provided an opportunity for members to present updates on their respective responsibilities and assess the level of preparedness for upcoming programmes and engagements.
The meeting followed an earlier management session where members were assigned specific tasks aimed at strengthening coordination, mobilisation and effective implementation of CYMS activities.
Addressing members at the meeting, the Director-General of CYMS, Chief Obinna Nwaka, expressed appreciation for the commitment and dedication demonstrated by members in carrying out their responsibilities.
Nwaka commended the team for its continued support and teamwork, stressing that the collective efforts of members remained important to advancing the organisation’s agenda of national development and meaningful youth inclusion.
He reaffirmed his confidence in the team, saying he would always be proud to work with members who remain committed to contributing their quota to national development.
The Director-General also encouraged members to sustain the spirit of teamwork, responsibility and commitment as the organisation moves forward with its programmes.
He noted that effective coordination and timely delivery of assigned responsibilities would be critical to the success of CYMS activities and its broader engagement with young Nigerians and other stakeholders.
The meeting was attended by the Director of Contacts and Mobilization, Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba; Mr Adeyemi Qudus; Mrs Amarah Joseph; Mr Hosea Parah; Comrade Abdulrasheed Shuiabu; Ms Lucy Abah; Benedicta Abuya; Corper Gloria Ojongwa; Emmanuel Adima; and Jennifer.
The management further reviewed areas requiring follow-up, with members expected to continue working together to ensure that assigned tasks are effectively executed ahead of the organisation’s upcoming engagements.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by the management and members to strengthen collaboration, promote youth participation and contribute to initiatives focused on national development.
