The Director General of the Committee of Youths on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS), Chief Obinna Nwaka,has on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos Zonal Director of the (EFCC), Mr. Bawa Kaltungo, to strengthen collaboration on youth development and national engagement.
The meeting, held in Lagos on Tuesday, focused on deepening the relationship between the two institutions, briefing the EFCC on the forthcoming CYMS National Conference, and discussing initiatives aimed at empowering young Nigerians.
During the visit, Chief Nwaka highlighted CYMS’ ongoing efforts in promoting youth participation in national development and outlined plans for the upcoming National Conference, which is expected to bring together stakeholders to address issues affecting young people across the country.
Mr. Kaltungo commended CYMS for its contributions in promoting the policies and programmes of the Federal Government, describing the organisation’s activities as a positive platform for youth engagement.
He also stressed the importance of involving more young people in decision-making processes, noting that their active participation is essential for sustainable national development and good governance.
Chief Nwaka was accompanied on the visit by the CYMS Director of Contacts and Mobilisation, Hon. Kelechi Ugwumba.
