Today, Wednesday 8th October 2025, CYMS DG Chief Obinna Nwaka represented his leader the Hon Minister for Youth Development, Engr Ayodele Olawande at the closing ceremony of the 2nd Cohort of the Skillnovation Training Program jointly organized by WEMA Bank, Federal Ministry of Youth Development and Research Development & Training Institute (RDTI).
The event was held at Gwagwalada Abuja Where 100 persons graduated from different skills such as Hair making, Make-up artistry, Confectioneries, Digital Marketing and Shoe making.
The four weeks intensive training program was a pivotal environment on promoting youth self reliance, innovation and community level economic growth in line with the Ministry of Youth Development under the purposeful leadership of Engr Ayodele Olawande
He was also opportune to present Certificates and Cheques to the participants on behalf of the Minister.
Other delegations were Hon Kelechi Ugwumba, CYMS Director Contacts and Mobilization who was among the judges, Ms Evelyn from Volunteer group.
Chief Obinna Nwaka commended Dr Chiji Ojukwu the Managing Director African Project Development Center Group (APDC) for his dedication towards youth empowerment
