Minister Olawande, inducted as a Fellow, charges stakeholders to extend community services to the grassroot.

The Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Engr Ayodele Olawande charges Nigerians and stakeholders to compliment the efforts of the Federal government by exchanging hands of fellowship, partnership and contributing to the community services at the grassroots level

Mr Olawande represented by Chief Obinna Nwaka, the Director General, Commiitee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) made the call at the Political Economy and Leadership Summit 2025 organized by the International Institute of Experts on Political Economy and Administration (IIEPEA) under the leadership of Prof Dr Tunji Asaolu.

The representative of the Minister, Chief Obinna Nwaka who declared the event open, used the opportunity to emphasize more on the Ministry’s programmes and initiatives as it addresses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) in line with the theme of the event: The Political Economy of nation building, the world unfinished business such as Nigerian Youth Academy (NiYA), Circular Economy Youth Empowerment Initiative for Climate Action (CEYEI), Youth Data Protection Awareness & Training (YDPAT), National Youth Confab, NYSC Reform etc

Nwaka, who also received Leadership and Good governance award and a certificate demonstrating induction into the International Institute of Experts on Political Economy and Administration (IIEPEA) as a Distinguished Fellow in the Field of Political Economy and Administration.

Other dignitaries confered with such honor were wife of Imo State former Governor, Dr Nkechi Okorocha, Barr Bala James Nggilari the former governor of Adamawa State among others

According to the Convener, Dr Asaolu, the Political Economy and Leadership Summit 2025 is an annual event which aims at providing policy to assist the government and development of road map in curbing challenges through Mobilization of key players in both States and non State in a view to dialogue and discuss issues affecting the economy and youth.

Chief Obinna Nwaka expressed gratitude to colleagues and youth leaders such as Hon Kelechi Ugwumba, Mr Olalekan Tobi Bakare and Ms Amarah Joseph for being part of the event
