Chief Obinna Nwaka, the Director General of the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) , represented the Honourable Minister for Youth Development, Engr Olawande Emmanuel Ayodele, at the 30th Anniversary celebration of the Integrity Group held at the Muson Center in Lagos.
As a Guest Speaker at the event, Chief Nwaka took the opportunity to reaffirm the Minister’s dedication to his responsibilities, emphasizing the importance of integrity in leadership. He encouraged the youth present to actively participate in various initiatives and programs offered by the Ministry, including the National Initiative for Youth Advancement (NiYA), the Community Engagement and Youth Empowerment Initiative (CEYEI), the Youth Development and Participation Agenda for Transformation (YDPAT), and the Youth Help Desk.
The event also featured words of encouragement from former Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo SAN, GCON, who commended the Integrity Group for its impactful work over the past three decades.
Chief Nwaka was joined by a support network of childhood friends, including Mr. Omonoba Mohammed, Engr. Gift Ogar, and Mazi Obinna Achionye from the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Youth Council. Additionally, a delegation from CYMS, including Ms. Faith Ann, Ngozi Kekewaru, Ogechi Akaedu, Mr. Lukmon Animashaun, and Blessing Daniels, also attended the celebration.
The event served not only as a recognition of the Integrity Group’s three decades of service but also as a platform to inspire and mobilize the youth towards a future anchored in integrity and active participation in governance and community development.
