Perm Sec Ministry of Special Duties received Ogun Deputy Governor, Engr Noimot

Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) Presents Ogun State Deputy Governor to Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs.

On Friday November 1, 2024, the Committee of Youth on Mobilization and Sensitization (CYMS) facilitated a meeting between the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, and Dr. Maryam Keshinro, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs (FMSDIGA).

CYMS’s Director General, Chief Obinna Nwaka, welcomed Her Excellency Engr. Salako-Oyedele at the Federal Secretariat, accompanied by CYMS officials Mr. Kelechi Ugwumba (Director of Contacts and Mobilization), Mr. Adeyemi Qudus Boluwaji (Director of Logistics), and Engr. Kenneth Sediq Omeiza, they led the Deputy Governor to Dr. Keshinro’s office.

In his introduction, Chief Nwaka described the Deputy Governor as an exemplary leader and a strong advocate for gender inclusion in policy-making and governance, he emphasized her role as a pillar of the organization and a successful female politician.

In her remarks, Dr Maryam Keshinro the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs expressed gratitude for the visit, stating that it provided her with encouragement and motivation in her career.

The Deputy Governor thanked the Ministry for its support and partnership with CYMS, noting her admiration for the innovative ideas introduced since the new Permanent Secretary Dr. Keshinro assumption in office.

According to the source, CYMS is an evaluation and monitoring body engaged under the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to assist in promoting the policies programs and activities of the Federal government.

However, the body also work closely with the Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs (FMSDIGA) as a stakeholder on policy formulation and implementation of their programmes in line with their mandate since leadership of Senator George Akume as the Minister.
